Peter graduated from Law School at the University of Manitoba in 2013 and was called to the bar in 2014.  He is a partner at Taylor McCaffrey LLP.

Peter’s work in the Labour & Employment Law field includes acting as chief negotiator for management in collective bargaining, defending wrongful dismissal lawsuits, and giving practical advice to clients operating in both non-unionized and unionized workplaces, including dealing with grievances and arbitrations under collective agreements. His advocacy experience includes representing management before and /or with respect to proceedings involving:

  • labour boards (the Manitoba Labour Board and the Canada Industrial Relations Board);
  • other administrative decision-makers; and
  • all levels of Court in Manitoba and the Federal Court of Canada.

An active volunteer in the community, Peter has been on the board of Community Respite Services Inc. since June 2014 and currently sits as Treasurer and Secretary. For over a decade, he volunteered for the Winnipeg Public Library’s Homebound Services Program, which helps deliver library books to people with mobility issues across Winnipeg.
